Heinrich Maerkl

Heinrich Maerkl (born April 29, 1912 in Munich , † February 15, 1983 in Planegg ) was a German politician of the Bavarian Party .

Life and work

Maerkl worked as an administrative clerk at the Oberbayerischen AG für Kohlenbergbau from 1930 and later worked there as an authorized signatory. From 1940 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier . Most recently he was taken prisoner of war.

Political party

Maerkl joined the Bavarian Party after 1945 and was deputy chairman of the BP district association in Munich .

MP

Maerkl was a council member of the Planegg community and a member of the Munich district council . He was a member of the German Bundestag from September 1, 1952, when he replaced the resigned MP Eugen Fürst zu Oettingen-Wallerstein , until 1953. Here he was a member of the Federal Union (FU) parliamentary group . He entered parliament through the Bavarian State List .
