Heinrich Meyer-Egg
Heinrich Meyer-Egg (born October 5, 1893 in Barmen ; † May 30, 1943 in Wuppertal -Barmen) was a German painter .
Life
Heinrich Meyer-Egg studied after participating in the war and being wounded in the First World War at the Düsseldorf Art Academy under Eduard Gebhardt . In 1932 he exhibited at the fourth jury-free art show in the white hall of the police building in Munich of the artists' association “The Independent” eV. The Barmer Kunstverein exhibited his oil painting industry in the Barmer Ruhmeshalle (today part of Wuppertal). Here it was confiscated as " degenerate " in 1937 and subsequently destroyed.
