Heinrich Felix Paulizky (born March 19, 1752 in Kirn ; † November 12, 1791 in Guntersblum ) was a German doctor and author .

Heinrich Paulizky was born in Kirn in 1752 as the third son of the senior pastor and Princely Salm-Salmschen consistorial assessor Johann Nikolaus Paulizky and his wife Maria Dorothea, née Reuss.

After successfully completing his medical studies with a doctorate to become a Dr. med , Paulizky began practical training at the Ducal Palatinate-Zweibrücken real secret council and first personal physician Dr. Carl Heinrich Rose. It was here that he worked as a writer for the first time: in 1784 he brought out the anthology of medical practical observations . Published in Frankfurt am Main , another edition of the book appeared in 1786.

In 1775 he finally began working as a doctor. He established himself as a doctor in his native Kirn at the age of 23. His area of ​​responsibility as a doctor ran from the city of Idar-Oberstein to Kirchberg im Hunsrück .

In the summer of 1786 he was awarded the title of Graflich-Leiningisches Landphysikus in Guntersblum. On December 4 of the same year, Paulizky married his wife Wilhelmina Regina Magdalena Gümbel, a daughter of the Princely Salm-Kyrburg court councilor and chamber director in Kirn, Friedrich Casimir Gümbel. In 1790 he was finally appointed to the Count's Council . In the following years he and his wife fathered three children.

Finally, in 1791, his book Instructions for Country People on Sensible Health Care was published . The book became a true bestseller . From 1791 to 1849, even after his death, a total of ten editions of the book appeared.

Heinrich Paulizky died on November 12, 1791 at the age of only 39 in his hometown of Guntersblum.
