Heinrich Philipp Guden

Heinrich Philipp Guden (born October 4, 1676 in Bornumhausen ; † April 27, 1742 ) was a German Lutheran theologian and general superintendent of the general dioceses of Göttingen and Lüneburg-Celle .

Life

Heinrich Philipp Guden was a son of the later general superintendent Philipp Peter Guden . He studied theology and was second pastor at St. Aegidien in Osterode am Harz in 1700, and in 1704 preacher at St. Alexandri in Einbeck. From 1707 he was also superintendent there . In 1710 he became superintendent in Zellerfeld , in 1722 first pastor at the St. Johannis Church in Göttingen and general superintendent. He also held a position as a professor at the local education department . From 1734 to 1735 Guden was temporarily superintendent in Ronnenberg . In 1735 he was called to Celle as the first pastor of the town church St. Marien and general superintendent of the general diocese of Lüneburg-Celle .
