Heinrich Plönes

Heinrich Plönes (born November 4, 1885 in Lobberich ; † February 25, 1956 in Leverkusen-Schlebusch ) was a German educator and writer .

Life

Heinrich Plönes received his doctorate in 1909 at the University of Münster with a thesis on regional history as a doctor of philosophy . He then taught at the Xanten “Kriemhildschule”, a state advanced school for girls, which he had to leave in 1933 because of his critical attitude towards the Nazi state .

From 1933 to 1949 Heinrich Ploenes was teacher at the Carl Duisberg High School in Leverkusen . In addition to his work as a high school teacher , he wrote narrative works and painted .
