Heinrich Reinköster

Heinrich Reinköster (born March 19, 1897 in Lenzinghausen ; † May 11, 1967 ) was a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and business school , he completed an apprenticeship as a tailor . From 1926 to 1933 Reinköster, who was wounded in World War I, was the full-time secretary of the Reich Association of War Disabled .

In addition, he was at times a businessman and independent tailor. Reinköster was an honorary judge at the Federal Social Court . Heinrich-Reinköster-Strasse was named after him in Hamm.

politics

From April 20, 1947 to July 23, 1966 Reinköster was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . In the first electoral term he was directly elected in the constituency 114 Hamm. He then moved into the state parliament via the state list of his party.

He was a member of the City Council of Hamm from 1946.
