Heinrich Rieker
Heinrich Rieker (born December 29, 1925 in Berlin ) is a German journalist and writer.
Life
His school attendance was interrupted for two years in the course of the Second World War because he was called up for military service and as a prisoner of war . After his return he got his Abitur in 1948. He then began studying law and philosophy in Berlin and Erlangen .
Rieker's journalistic career began with the Nürnberger Nachrichten . He has also worked as a reporter abroad and as an employee for various magazines, magazines and radio stations . He was also a member of the federal press conference. This was followed by a job at the Deutsche Zeitung . In 1962 he finally moved to the economic department of the Rheinisches Merkur , which he headed between 1981 and 1990. Then he left the newspaper to devote more time to his own journalistic activities.
