Heinrich Schellenberg (politician)

Heinrich Schellenberg (born October 19, 1810 in Neuwied , † December 12, 1876 in Nordenstadt ) was a German pastor and member of the Nassau state parliament.

Life

Schellenberg attended grammar school Philippinum Weilburg from 1826 to 1829 and from 1829 studied Protestant theology at the University of Halle and the High School in Herborn and passed the exam in 1832. From 1834 to 1838 he was vicar in Wiesbaden and from 1838 to 1842 in Nied. 1842-1854 he was pastor in Usingen and 1854-1867 in Hadamar . From 1867 to 1873 he was pastor and dean in Nastatten and in 1873 in Nordenstadt. In 1875 he retired.

In the reaction era he was from 1852 to 1857 for the constituency XVII (Usingen / Reichelsheim) member of the 2nd chamber of the estates of the Duchy of Nassau .

family

Schellenberg was the son of the secret church council and pastor Dr. theol. Karl Adolph Gottlob Schellenberg (1764-1835) and his wife Friederike nee Simon (born September 7, 1772 in Jugenheim; † March 6, 1847 in Wiesbaden), the daughter of a bailiff. Schellenberg married Ernestine Reinhardine born Frensdorf on July 22, 1838 in Wiesbaden (born March 8, 1811 in Dillenburg, † October 28, 1878 in Wehen), the daughter of the Privy Councilor Georg Friedrich Wilhelm Frensdorf and his wife Henriette Becher.
