Heinrich Strub

Heinrich Strub (born October 6, 1786 in Läufelfingen ; † August 12, 1857 there ) was a Swiss politician and judge.

Life

Strub worked as a herdsman , farmer and businessman . From 1817 to 1831 he was a member of the Basel Grand Council and worked for the Agricultural Society founded by the Basel non-profit society in 1818. He was also a member of the provisional Baselbieter government in 1831 and was considered "honorary ambassador" of the insurgents in the Diet 1,831th

In the newly founded rural canton , Strub was a member of the constitutional council in 1832, 1838 and 1850 as a representative of the party of order . From 1836 to 1838 he was active in the government council, in 1836, from 1838 to 1841, 1844 and 1848 he sat in the district administrator and from 1841 to 1854 he held the office of chief judge.
