Heinrich Vogel (politician, 1912)

Heinrich Vogel (born February 20, 1912 in Laineck , today Bayreuth , † January 23, 1997 ) was a German CSU politician .

Vogel, who was active in rural youth , took over his parents' farm in 1935 and campaigned against National Socialism . He served as a tank grenadier and pioneer during World War II before he was captured by the British. After his liberation he joined the CSU, whose district chairman in the Bayreuth district he was from 1948 on. He belonged to the local council, the district council, the district committee and from 1954 to 1966 the Bavarian state parliament . In the latter he was always elected via the constituency list in Upper Franconia , he was a member of the Committee for Food and Agriculture.
