Heinrich Weber (linguist)

Heinrich Weber (* 1940 in Kaiserslautern ) is a German linguist , Germanist and former professor at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen .

Live and act

Heinrich Weber first studied German, history and political science in Saarbrücken and then continued his studies in Heidelberg and Vienna . In 1968 he received his doctorate and in 1970 he passed the 2nd state examination as a teacher training candidate . Weber completed his habilitation in 1989. His research interests are in the grammar, semantics and pragmatics of German, syntax theories and the history of linguistics. In 1970 he became an academic councilor , later senior councilor and professor at the German seminar at the University of Tübingen.
