Heinrich Ernst August Ferdinand von Döring (born January 17, 1805 in Segeberg , † June 12, 1880 in Setzin ) was a German administrative officer in the Danish service and a Mecklenburg landowner.

Life

Heinrich von Döring was a son of Ernst August von Döring (1767–1850) and his wife Louise Henriette, born. von Döring (1770–1845).

In 1839 he was appointed bailiff in the office of Cismar . He held this office for 21 years until 1860. His successor was Cay Lorenz von Brockdorff (District Administrator) .

At the end of 1853 he acquired the Setzin estate in Mecklenburg from Friedrich Adolph Gottlieb von Eyben and a year later he also acquired the Ruhetal farm (now part of Setzin) from him. Around 1860, probably in connection with his retirement, he had a new manor house built in Setzin in the neo-Gothic style on the foundations of the previous Baroque building from 1701. The house has been preserved, but the entire neo-Gothic facade design was removed in 1959.

He was married to Sophie Henriette Juliane, born in 1840. Countess von Brockdorff from the house of Kletkamp (* June 27, 1819 - † August 8, 1884). From the couple's children, Adolf Heinrich Carl Ferdinand ( Heino ) von Döring (born January 6, 1848 in Cismar, † September 6, 1920 in Celle ) inherited Setzin and Ruhetal and lived in Setzin until 1901; Charlotte (* 1845) married Joachim Werner Graf von Bülow auf Kühren .
