biography

Suter began her career in November 2010 with her first participation in an FIS race . In January 2012 she took part in the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck , where she won the bronze medal in the giant slalom and in the slalom she just passed the podium with fourth place. In the same month the first appearances in the European Cup followed , in February 2012 the first victories in FIS races. At the end of the season she became Swiss Super G Junior Champion. During the winter of 2012/13 she gradually established herself in the European Cup.

Suter made her debut in the World Cup on December 28, 2013 in the giant slalom in Lienz , where she was eliminated in the first run. In January 2014 she won another Swiss Junior Championship, this time in the giant slalom. Due to injury, Suter missed a large part of the 2014/15 season, but was then able to win the Swiss giant slalom championship at the end of the season. At the start of the 2015/16 World Cup season , Suter finished 20th in the giant slalom in Sölden on October 24, 2015 , thus recording her first World Cup points. Since she remained without result in the six subsequent World Cup races, she was used again in the European Cup. She won the gold medal in giant slalom at the 2016 Junior World Championships in Sochi .

Suter moved up for the injured Lara Gut at the 2017 World Championships in St. Moritz and started in the giant slalom, but was eliminated in the first run. She achieved her best result in the World Cup so far on February 23, 2020 with 13th place in the combination of Crans-Montana .
