facts

It was initially assumed that the unclothed corpse, covered by a layer of leaves, was a missing person known to the police from a neighboring village, who had also disappeared around 1976. However, this missing person reported to the police in 2006, so that the identity of the body is now unknown.

Based on an examination of the epiphyseal plate , it is assumed that the girl was between 13 and 15 years old at the time of her death, i.e. must have been born between 1960 and 1964. An isotope test on hair and teeth showed that the child must have spent the first seven years of his life between the Ruhr area and the Eifel . Around 1975 it was probably in the GDR or Eastern Europe. For the time before her death, it is assumed that she was in Germany or the Netherlands, where there was very unbalanced nutrition, which could be attributed to extreme poverty or kidnapping .

In 2012, an informant told the police that the girl's body had been "thrown away" in 1976 by two men between 30 and 40 years old, a fact that many people know.

Even decades later, the case received considerable reception in both Germany and the Netherlands.
