Heinrich von Letmathe

Heinrich von Letmathe (born January 1, 1597 ; † before 1654 ) was a German Roman Catholic clergyman and canon in Münster .

Life

Heinrich von Letmathe was born as the son of the former canon Johann von Letmathe and his wife Agnes Valke zu Rockel. With the receipt of the tonsure on November 19, 1613, he was prepared for a spiritual life. On December 28, 1620 he submitted a promise to the cathedral priest of Canon Engelbert von Brabeck and took possession of it on January 29, 1621. On December 2, 1641 he renounced and married Maria von Syberg zum Busch . Their son was the future canon Johann Caspar von Letmathe .
