Heinrich von Papius

Philipp Heinrich Ferdinand von Papius (born March 20, 1839 in Aschaffenburg , † December 14, 1924 there ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Papius attended the grammar school and lyceum in Aschaffenburg and studied law at the universities of Munich and Heidelberg , and passed the bankruptcy test for the civil service in Würzburg in 1864 , where he also received his doctorate in 1866. He traveled extensively. In 1881 he became a member of the Bavarian state parliament for the constituency of Miltenberg . He was a member of the German Reichstag since a by-election for the resigned MP Thomas von Hauck on January 20, 1880 for the constituency I Lower Franconia (Aschaffenburg) and the Center Party . He exercised this mandate until his resignation on September 20, 1886.
