Heinrich von der Lippe

Heinrich von der Lippe (* in the 13th century; † after 1333 ) was provost of the cathedral in Minden , canon in Osnabrück and cathedral scholaster in Münster .

Life

Origin and family

Heinrich von der Lippe was born the son of Simon I. zur Lippe and his wife Adelheid von Waldeck and belonged to the Westphalian noble family von Lippe . His siblings were:

Act

Heinrich was canon and provost in Minden from 1305. Pope Clement V awarded him a cathedral canon in Osnabrück on December 27, 1309. On August 3, 1316, he was mentioned in a document as the canon of Münster. In 1319 he also became a cathedral scholar here . He was responsible for the management of the cathedral school . The sources do not provide any information about his further life.
