Heinz-Ludwig Schmidt (born March 2, 1920 in Berlin ; † August 15, 2008 ) was a football coach in Berlin, including the Bundesliga coach of Tasmania Berlin .

Schmidt played actively in the Berlin junior team. After he passed the trainer examination with the grade 1, he became trainer of Lichtenberg 47 . From 1948 to 1950 he trained the Tasmanians, with whom he was promoted to the Berlin Oberliga in 1949 . From 1951 to 1954 he trained the Berliner SV 92 , with which he became Berlin champion in 1954. From 1954 to 1956 he was the trainer of Viktoria 89 Berlin , with which he became Berlin champions in 1955 and 1956. At the same time he also looked after the Spandauer BC until 1957. From 1956 to 1959 he coached the Spandauer SV and then until 1961 Tennis Borussia Berlin . Further stations were Blau-Weiß 90 Berlin , again Spandauer SV, SSC Südwest 1947 and Helgoland 97.

In the 1965/66 season he replaced the unsuccessful Franz Linken as coach of Tasmania 1900 on November 10, 1965 , but rose with the team from bottom of the table. He also coached the Tasmanians in the regional league until, on September 15, 1967, due to unsuccessfulness after two home defeats against BFC Südring and Hertha Zehlendorf, despite an intervening 8: 1 win against the later relegated VfB Hermsdorf and a subsequent 1: 1 against the Berliner SV 92 was released.
