Heinz-Peter Hackl

Heinz-Peter Hackl (born May 17, 1954 in Haslach an der Mühl ) is an Upper Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and was a member of the National Council from October 22, 2009 to June 28, 2016 .

Born on May 17, 1954 in Haslach an der Mühl in Upper Austria , Heinz-Peter Hackl grew up in Linz , where he attended primary school from 1960 to 1964 and secondary school from 1964 to 1968. Hackl then took part in the polytechnic course for a year before he moved to the Higher Technical College in Linz , where he graduated from high school in 1974 . From 1974 to 1975 Heinz-Peter Hackl then did his military service in the Austrian Armed Forces . From 1975 to 1982 Hackl worked as an employee of a building services company and from 1982 to 1987 as an employee of voestalpine . He has been an independent IT technician since 1987.

Political career

His entry into politics managed Heinz-Peter Hackl in 2000 as a member of the municipal executive board of the municipality of Seewalchen . He remained this until 2003, after which he became a member of the municipality council of the market town. Since 2000 he has been local party chairman of the FPÖ Seewalchen, since 2005 also district chairman of the party in the Vöcklabruck district . In 2007, the self-employed IT technician also became a member of the ring of liberal entrepreneurs in Upper Austria.

On October 22, 2009, Heinz-Peter Hackl succeeded his colleague Manfred Haimbuchner, who had left the National Council, as FPÖ mandate for the Hausruckviertel regional constituency and became a member of the National Council. As such, he was secretary of the Committee on Economy and Industry and a member of the Committee on Agriculture and Forestry, the Court of Auditors Committee and the Tourism Committee. As an FPÖ mandate, he was a member of the liberal parliamentary club.

Wolfgang Klinger succeeded him in the National Council in June 2016 .
