Heinz Birg (born November 30, 1941 in Heufeld , Banat , Yugoslavia ) is a German architect and draftsman based in Munich.

Birg was best known for his satirical architectural drawings in a sophisticated line layer technique. In many of his caricatures, existing or threatened building sins , especially in his hometown of Munich , are presented. But the members of the Bavarian ruling party and Bavaria in general are the target of his ridicule.

Birg fought in the citizens' initiative "Save the Court Garden " against the oversized new building of the Bavarian State Chancellery .
