Heinz Goll (politician)

Heinz Goll (born October 26, 1938 in Rastatt ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from primary school in Bad Rotenfels , Heinz Goll completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter by 1956. Until 1963 he was chairman of the company youth council at the Daimler-Benz plant in Gaggenau , then works council. In 1963 he became the union secretary of IG Metall in Gaggenau, in 1972 second authorized representative and finally from 1980 to 1996 he was first authorized representative of IG Metall. Goll is married and has two children.

politics

In 1962 Goll joined the SPD. From 1964 to 1977 he was the chairman of the local association and from 1977 to 1987 chairman of the district association of the SPD. In 1969 he was elected to the Gaggenau municipal council. From 1983 to 2009 he was chairman of the SPD parliamentary group there. In 1984 Goll became a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg . Until 2001 he was a member of a total of four legislative terms. There he represented constituency 32 (Rastatt) .
