Heinz Kempken

Heinz Kempken (born August 26, 1938 in Baerl ; † April 5, 1995 ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending primary school , he completed a commercial apprenticeship and was employed in the profession he had learned until 1959. From 1960 to 1962 Kempken learned the bakery trade , passed the master craftsman's examination in this profession and started his own business in 1970. In 1978 he became head master of the bakers' guild.

In 1964 he joined the CDU and was involved in numerous party committees.

From May 30, 1985 to May 30, 1990, Kempken was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected from his party's national list.

He was a member of the city council of Duisburg from 1987.
