Heinrich Kuhn-Weiss , also called Heinz Kuhn-Weiss , is a former German racing driver and today's entrepreneur.

Career

Heinz Kuhn-Weiss began his racing career in touring car racing in the late 1970s. From 1980 to 1983 he drove with Fritz Müller in Division 4 and Division 2 of the European Touring Car Championship . There they first entered a Mazda RX-7 and, at the end of 1983, a BMW 635 CSi in the races. He achieved his first class win in the 4th division in 1980 at the ETCC race on the Salzburgring, where he finished ninth overall. A year later he celebrated his first overall victory at the 500 km race in Vallelunga with Fritz Müller. In the same year he achieved his best season result in this racing series with 10th place.

In 1983 and 1984 he took part in Group B of the World Sports Car Championship with Georg Memminger in a Porsche 930 . His best race result in a long distance race was the 1000 km race on the Nürburgring in 1983 together with Georg Memminger and Günter Steckkönig , in which he reached 10th place.

Kuhn-Weiss, together with Fritz Müller and Georg Memminger, drove a Porsche 930 in the 1983 Le Mans 24-hour race to 13th place in the overall ranking and second place in the Group B ranking.

In 1984 he ended his racing career. Today he is the managing owner of a material coating company and has been supporting the young driver Robert Renauer in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany since 2006 .
