Heinz Liebscher (philosopher)

Heinz Liebscher (born April 12, 1931 in Dresden ) is a German Marxist philosopher .

Life

Liebscher studied philosophy in Rostock, Dresden and Berlin. From 1962 to 1987 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences in Berlin , Scientific Secretary of the Cybernetics Commission of the Academy of Sciences in Berlin, Scientific Advisor in the Section for Cybernetics of the Academy of Sciences in Berlin and head of the Working Group on Philosophical Problems mathematics and cybernetics in the field of philosophical questions of scientific development at the Berlin Academy of Sciences. Between 1987 and 1991 he was Professor of Dialectical Materialism at the Humboldt University in Berlin . In 1992 he was retired.
