Heinz Pusitz

Heinz Pusitz (* 1961 in Vienna ) is an Austrian ethnologist and writer .

Life

Pusitz studied cultural anthropology at the University of Vienna and obtained a master's degree . He worked as a Buddhist religion teacher in Vienna and reported from Indonesia for the magazine “ Sorge & Effect” , for which he was editor from 1995 to 1998. Pusitz published Ungeschieden , a 44-page ethnography of a fictional district of the Lower Austrian city of Baden , reported on the first “Höfleiner Danube-wide poetry festival”, published poetic texts on the Internet such as “Sunrise” and an artist portrait about Karin Frank.

Reviewers highlighted language games and word creations at Pusitz. Alexander Sprung wrote that he “repeatedly reflects on language. 'What can language explain? Can language be explained? ' This skepticism produces neologisms with relish, is intoxicated by the sound of individual words: 'The coltsfoot is a coltsfoot. Coltsfoot. '”Daniela Beuren wrote that Pusitz“ had fun with words like “critical investigation”, “research”, “traditional”, with ornate constructions and deliberate alternative spelling: “The dead who wanted to be withdrawn quickly and the anesthesia presented themselves differently remained faithful and no longer awoke '. Some readers will be happy to follow him on such meanders, others may get sick or irritated by so much [sic]. "

Pusitz worked on the text of the film "In Out - Move the World" (2002) by Christina Zurbrügg .
