etcetera is an Austrian literary magazine published by the St. Pölten Literary Society ( LitGes ). The magazine appears quarterly with a print run of 1500 copies. Etcetera is the successor magazine to Limes , which was also published in St. Pölten between 1985 and 1996 under the aegis of LitGes. Until 2005 the magazine appeared under the title @cetera .
All editions are themed magazines: No. 39 (2009) appeared, for example, on the topic of “Jump”, No. 40 (2010) on the topic of “Quarter”, in the anniversary edition (No. 50, 2012) etcetera asked the programmatic question that was deeply affecting itself “Why literature?”, In issue 52 (2013), the body was the focus of reflections in prose, poetry, essay, interview and image. Etcetera published among others Bettina Balàka , Zdenka Becker , Katharina Bendixen , Beppo Beyerl , Manfred Chobot , Martin Dragosits , Klaus Ebner , Franzobel , Petra Ganglbauer , Gerhard Jaschke , Jan-Eike Hornauer , Heinz Pusitz , Doron Rabinovici , Ingrid Reichel , Cornelia Travnicek , Günter Vallaster , Orla Wolf , Bülent Kacan, Paul-Henri Campbell and Michael Ziegelwagner .
In the “Litarena” section, etcetera also regularly gives young authors up to the age of 27 the opportunity to perform solo. Editing and feedback are included.
Reviews take up part of the literary journal . The book reviews published in the issue as well as other works on books, theater performances, films and art exhibitions are available on the LitGes website.
