Michael Ziegelwagner
Michael Ziegelwagner (born January 8, 1983 in St. Pölten ) is an Austrian writer and satirist .
Life
Michael Ziegelwagner graduated from St. Pölten in 2001 and then studied journalism at the Vienna University of Applied Sciences . After graduating in 2008, he initially worked as an author for the satirical magazine Titanic , and from 2009 to 2015 as editor. Since 2014 he has been head of the humor criticism department . He also published in Standard , Wiener Zeitung and taz . His debut novel The Inflatable Kaiser was nominated for the German Book Prize. Michael Ziegelwagner lives in Vienna and Edinburgh .
