Heinz Stübig

Heinz Stübig (born June 12, 1939 in Braunschweig ) is a German educational scientist .

Life

From 1960 to 1966 , Stübig studied German , history and education at the Philipps University of Marburg and the University of Hamburg . Then he was a research assistant (most recently Academic Senior Counselor) at the Marburg Research Center for Comparative Education . In 1970 he was with Wolfgang Klafki with the dissertation Army and Nation. The educational-political motives of the Prussian army reform 1807–1814 for Dr. phil. PhD. In 1982 he completed his habilitation .

He later worked at the Institute for Educational Science and at the Institute for School Education. He was initially a private lecturer , then an adjunct professor for educational sciences; his main focus was on comparative education and historical pedagogy. In 2004 he retired. He published numerous books.
