Heinz Ueberberg

Heinz Ueberberg , also Heinrich Ueberberg (born July 16, 1925 in Frechen , † July 16, 2015 in Biberach an der Riss ) was a German pathologist and university professor.

Life

Heinz Ueberberg studied medicine at the University of Cologne , where he became active in the Corps Altsachsen Dresden , which was then based in Cologne, in 1951 . In 1955 he was supported by the Medical Faculty of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz Dr. med. PhD. In 1969 he completed his habilitation in Homburg at the Medical Faculty of Saarland University , where he was appointed private lecturer and in 1971 professor of pathology. Ueberberg published about 130 articles in scientific journals. In 1977 he was co-editor of the Real Lexikons der Medizin. Ueberberg died in July 2015 on his 90th birthday.
