Heating technology

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The heating technology is used to generate heat in closed rooms. The heating technology includes the heating technology in the actual sense (technology of the heating) and the entire system construction of the heat distribution (as part of the building technology ) as well as the supply of fuels .

Heating system, heating system, transitional forms of building services

The term building heating itself includes the heating systems (heating systems, constructions of heat transfer and methods of heating) and heating systems (constructive implementation of heating systems, heating systems). The heating system is the entirety of the system components firing (heat source, firing technology in particular), heating circuit (heat conduction system), radiators and heating surfaces (heat distribution system) and their regulation and control technology .

The heating technology in general then includes other aspects such as the distribution of heat via the room air. Closely related to heating technology are cooling technology , ventilation technology and hot water technology. Cooling technology is the "generation" of cold. The umbrella term is air conditioning as a whole that regulates indoor temperature and humidity to a target value. In addition to thermal and hygrostatic aspects, air or ventilation technology primarily includes the supply of fresh air (oxygen supply and odor removal) for the general room climate . The hot water technology provides temperature-controlled service water - in combination with the heating system or independently of it.

A special form is component-integrated heating technology , which, as a young form of heating technology, does not require any structural separation between building technology and construction (such as wall-integrated radiant heating).

There are also overlaps with solar thermal and district heating technology .
