In the fourth volume, Percy and Annabeth are in Tartarus. The other five demigods are on their way to Greece. Trainers Hedge and Nico are also on the ship. You find out that Nico was / is once in love with Percy. Leo spends some time in this volume on the island of Ogygia. He was sent there by Chione, the goddess of snow, an ancient enemy of Piper, Jason and Leo. Leo is the first that the girl does not fall in love with on the island of Ogygia. (Percy was there too - and of course she fell in love with him too. Leo, however, is known to always fall in love with the girls who do not love him.) Leo swears that he will save the girl. In the end, she falls in love with him too. The book ends in the house of Hades. This is where Percy and Annabeth join the others. The heroes find out that the statue of Athenes, which they saved in Volume 3, has to be brought to the Greeks (Camp Half-Blood) by a Roman in order to make peace. So they call Reyna. She comes on her Pegasus Scipio, who dies after the long journey. With the help of Nico and trainer Hedge, she makes her way to Camp Half-Blood with the statue.
