action
Percy Jackson wakes up with no memories of his previous life. He arrives at “Camp Jupiter”, where he is received with great suspicion. Shortly before, he met the goddess Juno and demanded that he carry her across the small Tiber. At camp he befriends Hazel Levesque, a daughter of Pluto, and Frank Zhang, a son of Mars. Frank Zhang receives the order from his father to go to the land beyond the gods to free the imprisoned god of the dead Thanatos and to defeat the giant Alkyoneus . However, you only have time until the Fortuna Festival on June 24th. Frank goes to Alaska with Percy and Hazel. Along the way, Percy Jackson regains his memories of drinking gorgon blood from the right side of his body, which causes a healing. Hazel Levesque is a dead soul from 1943 who has returned from the underworld. With her death she has ensured that the giant Alkyoneus does not wake up although she previously tried to wake him up by Gaia . Frank's life, however, seems to be tied to a stick: if the stick burns, Frank's soul burns too. With part of his soul fire, Frank frees Thanatos from his chains and thus recognizes his gift. He can turn into animals. Hazel and Frank kill the giant and return to Camp Jupiter in time, where the giant Polybotes fights the Romans with an army. Percy Jackson and the god Terminius kill him and use the Amazons to beat the monster army. At the end of the story, Percy is promoted to praetor and convinces the Romans that a Greek warship may land on Roman territory.
