Helen Jane Ward (born Helen Jane Lander in Brent , London on April 26, 1986 ) is a British soccer player and top scorer for the Welsh women's national team.
Career
Helen began her career with Watford LFC at the age of nine . She moved to Arsenal LFC in January 2009 , where she scored a goal on her debut against Colchester United LFC and won the FA Women's Cup . In September 2010, Lander moved to Chelsea LFC .
National team
She represented England's U-23 selection. However, since her mother's father is a Welshman, she decided to play for the Welsh national team. She made her debut against Luxembourg in 2008 . In August 2010, Lander scored six goals in a 15-0 win against Azerbaijan .
