Helene Berthold

Helene Berthold (also: Helene Berthold-Schwiebus , born May 25, 1855 in Schwiebus ; † August 21, 1925 ) was a German writer .

Life

Helene Berthold was the daughter of a Protestant pastor . She grew up in Schwiebus, where she attended a secondary school for girls. Berthold began to write fairy tales early on . From 1889 she worked as a freelance writer; she lived in Berlin . - Helene Berthold's literary work consists of stories of a predominantly religious character and mostly for a young readership .
