Helfried Strauss
Helfried Strauss (* 1943 in Plauen , Saxony ) is a German photographer and emeritus professor of photography at the University of Graphic and Book Art in Leipzig .
From 1978 onwards, Helfried Strauss was a lecturer at the Leipzig College of Graphics and Book Art. In 1993 he took over the professorship for artistic photography. He has been retired since 2008 . His photographs have been shown in numerous exhibitions since the 1980s and have been published in several illustrated books.
