Helgum is a small town ( Småort ) in the Swedish municipality of Sollefteå . The place was mentioned under the name Helghyöm as early as 1535. Helgum is located at the southern end of the Helgumsee, where it flows into the Faxälven again , about 15 km west of Sollefteå , on Länsväg 331.
