Hellish Crossfire is a Bavarian death and thrash metal band from Nuremberg , which was founded in 2002.
history
The band was founded in early 2002 by drummer Thomas "Iron Tyrant" Werner, bassist Sick, guitarist Christian "Iron Incubus" Wachter and singer "The Bone" Heinrich. Together they worked on the first pieces. Meanwhile, singer Heinrich left the band in autumn 2002 and was replaced in February 2003 by "Traumatic" Patrick Kremer (ex- Witchburner ). However, Kremer left the band after a few months to devote himself to Witchburner, so Werner switched from drummer to the post of singer and Patrick "Evil Possessor" Tauch joined the band as the new drummer. With this line-up, the group recorded the first demo Unholy Tyranny in the winter of 2003 .
In January 2005 the band went to the Rape of Harmonies Studio to record their debut album Slaves of the Burning Pentagram . After some delays, the band reached a deal with I Hate Records and the album in 2006. published in 2008 appeared on proselytism Records a split -Publishing, on the well Violent Attack in Paraguay could be heard. Songs from the first demo Unholy Tyranny from Hellish Crossfire were on it, as well as a few new songs.
In April 2009, the band returned to the Rape of Harmonies studio to record the album Bloodrust Scythe , which was released in 2010.
style
The band plays a mixture of Thrash and Death Metal, with the vocals in particular being heavily based on Death Metal. The music is compared to the works of other bands such as Possessed , early Massacre , Death , Pestilence and early albums by Kreator and Onslaught .
