Hellmut Grube

Hellmut Grube (born June 5, 1906 in Cologne , † June 10, 1970 ) was a German actor and theater director .

Live and act

Grube attended a humanistic grammar school and finished school with a high school diploma. Then he began law study and took acting lessons with Gertrude Eysoldt . In 1935, Grube went to radio, where he headed the proficiency tests for the next two years. First theater engagements followed during the Second World War on stages in Lublin (German-occupied Poland) and Gleiwitz .

After the end of the war, Hellmut Grube continued his acting activities in Wernigerode , from 1950 the native of Cologne finally appeared on theaters in Berlin and staged several plays there in sometimes tiny venues (including touring theaters). In addition, Helmut Grube was hired as a voice actor in the 1950s. Since 1955 he has been in front of the camera regularly; initially in movies, a little later also in television productions. He was often given dignitaries; Pit played u. a. Doctors, mayors and several high-ranking judicial officials.
