Beppo Schwaiger

Josef "Beppo" Schwaiger (born March 20, 1902 in Munich ; † March 28, 1976 there ) was a German actor and cabaret artist .

Live and act

The merchant's son had attended the humanistic grammar school and graduated from high school. He then studied theater studies and art history . In 1932 Josef “Beppo” Schwaiger joined the cabaret Die Nachrichtener for three years , and in 1935 he went to the Berlin theater on Saarlandstrasse for one season. In the 1938/39 season, Schwaiger was a member of the Hamburg Volksoper ensemble; from 1942 the Bavarian was seen, initially only as a stage manager, at the Bavarian State Theater in his home town of Munich. Since 1939 Beppo Schwaiger could also be seen on the big screen. Here he played the most diverse batches: from the porter to a detective inspector to the mail carrier and bailiff.
