Hellmut von der Chevallerie (born November 9, 1896 in Berlin , † June 1, 1965 in Wiesbaden ) was a German lieutenant general in World War II .

Hellmut came from the old Huguenot and noble family of the Chevallerie , who came to Prussia in 1660 .

Chevallerie occurred after the start of World War I as a volunteer on August 4, 1914 in the reserve battalion of the Grenadier Guards Regiment. 5 a.
