Hellmuth Klauhs

Hellmuth Klauhs (born March 27, 1928 in Vienna ; † April 27, 1990 there ) was an Austrian bank director.

In 1969, Klauhs took over the control of the Genossenschaftliche Zentralbank AG (today: Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich AG ) as General Director . In 1978 he was appointed Advocate General of the Austrian Raiffeisen Association, a position he held until 1988. In that year Klauhs moved to the Oesterreichische Nationalbank , where he took over the office of president until 1990.
