Hellmuth Lange (writer)

Hellmuth Gustav Hippolyt Lange (born February 10, 1903 in Thorn , Kingdom of Prussia ; date of death unknown) was a German writer, editor and publisher.

Life

For a long time he studied business administration at the Handelshochschule Berlin , where he graduated in 1926 with a degree in business administration. From 1933 to 1940 he was editor of the photo magazine Satrap , after the end of the war he was editor of the magazine Schmalfilm and the book series Schmalfilm-Chest . From 1931 he published a number of books in the field of film and photo technology. From 1937 he also wrote fiction, including some adventure novels for young people and the science fiction novel Flowers grow in the sky (1948). Lange also wrote several comedies and radio plays.

He was married to Ilse Schnor, with whom he had two children.
