Helmut Bauer (chemist)
Helmut Bauer (born March 12, 1925 in Friedrichshafen ; † November 7, 2016 ) was a German chemist and educator.
Helmut Bauer studied chemistry at the Technical University of Karlsruhe and was at Rudolf Scholder to Dr. rer. nat. PhD . In 1964 he completed his habilitation. Bauer held a professorship for inorganic chemistry and its didactics and methodology of chemistry classes at the Kiel University of Education and was director of the Institute for Chemistry and its Didactics at the PH Kiel. He was also Vice President of PH Kiel from April 1, 1981 to March 31, 1984. After the incorporation of the PH Kiel in 1994, he taught as emeritus at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel .
