Cellule is a commune Déléguée in the French community Chambaron sur Morge with 1,224 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The inhabitants are called cellulois .
With effect from January 1, 2016, Cellule was merged with the former municipality of La Moutade and merged into a Commune nouvelle with the name Chambaron sur Morge. The municipality of Cellule belonged to the arrondissement of Riom and the canton of Riom (until 2015: canton of Riom-Est ).
