Helmut Cron
Helmut Paul Alfred Cron (born October 1, 1899 in Mannheim ; † September 28, 1981 in Stuttgart ) was a German journalist.
Career
Cron was editor-in-chief of the Mannheimer Tageblatt until 1933 when the National Socialists deposed him. After the end of the Second World War he held the same position at the Stuttgarter Zeitung , which he helped to build, and from 1949 at the business newspaper .
From 1949 to 1953 he was chairman of the German Association of Journalists .
