Helmut Daucher
Helmut Daucher (born March 8, 1957 in Reichraming ) is an Austrian photographer . His focus is on portraits, dance, hairstyling, cosmetics and fashion.
Life
After completing his training at the HTL Steyr, Helmut Daucher completed his teaching degree for mathematics and physics at the Pedagogical Academy in Linz and also taught adult education at the BFI in Upper Austria.
He discovered his passion for photography as early as the 1970s and dedicated countless trips to it from Europe to Africa, India and Central America.
From 1982 he worked as a press photographer and also used photography for the citizens' initiative "Save the Hintergebirge" in the Reichraminger Hintergebirge , today's Kalkalpen National Park .
From 2007 to 2008 Daucher studied artistic photography at the Friedl Kubelka School in Vienna .
Since 1988 he has worked as a teacher at the polytechnic school in Großraming in the field of electrical engineering.
He imparts his photographic knowledge as a lecturer or seminar leader at courses and workshops in Steyr , Linz and Vienna as well as at the summer academy in Zakynthos , Greece. Again and again he breaks out of conventional photography and approaches other art movements, such as B. painting, be it in the Ballerina Project Linz with artists from the Anton Bruckner Private University or in joint projects with painters, actors and writers.

- 2015: 1st place at the National Championship of Friends of Nature in Austria
- 2016: Gold medal at Trierenberg Super Circuit
- 2016: Overall victory at the Austrian National Friends of Nature Championship
- 2016: further medals at the state championship and the state championship for artistic photography of the VÖAV
- 2017: 1st place at the National Championship of Friends of Nature in Austria, Landscape category
