Helmut Heene

Helmut Heene (born April 28, 1936 in Mannheim ) is a German manager and functionary as well as a former senator.

Life

Heene graduated from the Goethe-Gymnasium in Regensburg in 1954 . It studied business administration at the University of Munich , where it obtained the degree of business administration degree. In 1959 he joined the company Streit + Co, an international forwarding company in Regensburg. It is his in-laws business. In 1969 he became the sole managing director and majority shareholder of this company. He worked on a voluntary basis for young businesspeople, in the regional association of Bavarian freight forwarders, as a commercial judge at the regional court in Regensburg , in committees of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and for the University and University of Applied Sciences Regensburg .

Heene was elected to the general assembly of the Regensburg Chamber of Commerce in 1974, from 1978 to 1986 he was its vice-president and then its president. From 1989 to 1995 he was a member of the board of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bonn , and in 1989 he also became chairman of the transport committee. From 1996 until its dissolution in 1999, he was a member of the Bavarian Senate .
