Helmut "Effi" Hofmann (born November 14, 1925 in Friedrichsthal ; † August 21, 2017 ) was a German boxer who competed for the Saarland .
biography
Helmut Hofmann was one of three boxers in the Saarland delegation at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki . He competed in the flyweight division , but lost to the South Korean Han Su-an in the first round .
Hofmann fought for SC Friedrichsthal .
