Helmut Knobloch

Helmut Knobloch (born September 12, 1922 - March 23, 1996 ) was a German football player .

Career

Helmut Knobloch began his career at FC Mittweida in Saxony and played as an outside runner , half- forward or outside striker . After the end of the Second World War , Knobloch moved to Holstein Kiel and played with the “Storks” from 1947 in the then first-class Oberliga Nord . Knobloch played for Eintracht Osnabrück from November 1948 to summer 1949 before returning to Kiel. In 1952 Knobloch went to Eintracht Osnabrück again before joining local rivals VfL Osnabrück a year later . In 1955 Knobloch went to TuRa Grönenberg Melle , with whom he was promoted to the second-class amateur league in Lower Saxony a year later . This was followed by direct relegation before he let his career end at Eintracht Osnabrück from 1959. Helmut Knobloch completed a total of 181 league games in which he scored 33 goals.
