Helmut Stukenberg (* 1909 in Oldenburg (Oldb) , † 1991 in Essen ) was a German ministerial official and president of the Deutsche Bundesbahn .

Life

Stukenberg was the son of Wilhelm Stukenberg (1878–1964), a high school councilor and member of the Oldenburg State Parliament for the German Democratic Party (DDP) , and his wife Alma geb. Wohlers (1882–1963). He worked for the Deutsche Reichsbahn from 1937 to 1946 , from 1950 in the Federal Ministry of Transport , there from 1950 to 1952 assistant assistant in department Z , 1953 to 1957 head of department Z 2 (civil service law, personnel matters) and as permanent representative of department head Z, and in 1957 until 1962 head of department Z.

From 1962 to 1972 he was on the board of the Deutsche Bundesbahn .

He was chairman of the Evangelical Working Group for Soldiers Care from 1977 to 1981 and chairman of the German Transport Science Society from 1978 to 1984.

His grandson Christian Keimer has been mayor of the town and association of Kastellaun since 2014 .
